PT Test Results

I took my PT Test today and passed! It’s an awesome feeling 🙂 Everyone else said they weren’t even worried about it, but there’s a lot of pressure to do well. Anyways, I ran the 1.5 mile run in 14:16, completed 54 situps in a min, and 27 pushups in a minute. With my abdominal circumference measuring 32.5, I ended up actually getting a higher score on this test than the last one I took in October. Yay!

PT Test (Round 3)

I took my PT test today and I passed! Yay, I’m so happy! About 4 months of working out 5 days a week (2 of those days were strength training with a personal trainer), and I am finally where I need to be. It’s a great feeling.  Compared to my first failure, I dropped 2 inches on my waist, ran 1 min faster, did 18 more pushups and 3 more situps. I suppose it doesn’t seem like much in 6 months, but I’m happy anyways. Now I just need to maintain this and I’ll be set for the rest of my Air Force career. I would still like to lose 20lbs. Someday 🙂

Unfortunately, I didn’t pass my PT test today. It is now my second PT failure in a row. I did improve, but still failed the pushup portion. I needed 18 to pass 🙁

Here’s an official AF photo taken on Tuesday. It’s for an awards package. I’m missing a short tour ribbon from my time in Korea, but it hasn’t been added to my records yet. On 6 July, I’ll have been in the AF for 7 years!
